    Born: December 31, 1969 in , ,

A dynamic young actor, Adam Brody has crafted a distinguished career in film and television and is quickly becoming one of the finest newcomers to hit the big screen.

Brody recently completed production on DAMSELS IN DISTRESS opposite Greta Gerwig, the first film in a decade from arthouse director darling Whit Stillman.  The film revolves around a group of style-obsessed college girls who take in a new student (Gerwig) and teach her their misguided ways of helping people at their grungy university.

Brody will next be seen in THE ORANGES, a story of The Ostroff and Walling families, best friends and neighbors who live across the street from each other on Orange Drive. The brilliant all-star cast includes Leighton Meester, Hugh Laurie, Catherine Keener, Alia Shawkat, Allison Janney and Oliver Platt.  Adam also joined the fourth installment of the Scream franchise, the film that marked the re-invention of the slasher film genre.

Brody was most recently seen in both Warner Bros. comedy COP OUT with Bruce Willis, Sean William Scott and Tracy Morgan and in the touching coming of age dramedy THE ROMANTICS, about seven friends who reconnect at a wedding.

Brody’s additional film credits include JENNIFER’S BODY, a film written by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody, the independent dramatic feature DEATH IN LOVE opposite Josh Lucas, Lukas Haas and Jacqueline Bisset, IN THE LAND OF WOMEN, SMILEY FACE, THE TEN, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING, MR. AND MRS. SMITH, GRIND, THE RING and MISSING BRENDAN.

Brody also starred as Seth Cohen on Fox’s celebrated television series “The O.C.” The ensemble drama revolved around the young adult community of the Orange County area. Additional television credits include a recurring role as Coop in “Once and Again,” a recurring role as Dave in the WB’s Emmy-nominated “Gilmore Girls” and standout guest-starring roles in “Judging Amy,” “Family Law” and “Smallville.”
